SRPEPL is a specialised water engineering company with EPC delivery and in-house membrane manufacturing capabilities. Over 35 years, we have engineered, supplied and operated water and wastewater treatment systems for PSUs, defence, railways, municipal bodies and industrial clients across India and export markets.
Our integrated model — process design, fabrication, membrane manufacturing under the SRP® brand, and long-term O&M — allows us to take single-point responsibility for complex turnkey projects, from sewage and effluent treatment to ultra-pure water and Zero Liquid Discharge.

Engineering Philosophy
SRPEPL practices first-principles engineering. Every treatment train we deliver is designed against the specific feed stream it will run on - its influent parameters, contaminant mix, variability and downstream constraints.
This engineering discipline originated from environmental control projects where systems were developed against real operating conditions and site constraints. The medium evolved from air treatment to water and wastewater systems — the methodology remained unchanged.

SR Paryavaran Engineers (P) Ltd. was founded in 1990 in Panchkula, Haryana, initially as an environmental control systems company focused on air pollution control — producing over 242 flue gas scrubbers designed in-house. From the late 1990s, SRPEPL pivoted to water and wastewater treatment and today is a specialist in membrane-based water systems with 35+ years of continuous operation.
SRPEPL began as an environmental control systems company specialising in air pollution control equipment — primarily flue gas scrubbers engineered in-house for industrial gas streams, dust loadings and plant geometries. The company's transition from air to water treatment began in the late 1990s as Indian industrial compliance norms formalised and membrane technology became commercially viable at Indian capital costs.
SRPEPL is headquartered at 70, Industrial Area, Phase I, Panchkula, Haryana 134113, India. The company operates two manufacturing and fabrication facilities — at the Panchkula HQ and at HPSIDC Baddi, Himachal Pradesh — and maintains five regional after-sales offices across India (Gurgaon, Jalandhar, Kota, Mumbai, Bangalore). The international office is in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, Dubai, UAE.
SRPEPL has cumulatively delivered 6,000+ water and wastewater systems, including 450+ packaged Membrane Bioreactors, 4,000+ packaged UF and RO systems, 200+ resin-based heavy-metal removal systems, and 100+ Zero Liquid Discharge systems. The installed base represents 400+ MLD of wastewater treatment capacity and over 4 billion litres of cumulative water treated. Over 150,000 membrane elements have been commissioned, including replacement orders into Indian refineries.
