Electrical Engineer – Design & Procurement
Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review electrical drawings, SLDs, load schedules, cable schedules and layouts.
Prepare BOQ/BOM, technical specifications and material requirements.
Handle procurement of electrical equipment and materials such as MCC/PCC panels, VFDs, motors, cables, switchgear, control panels, etc.
Coordinate with vendors for RFQs, quotations, technical clarifications and negotiations.
Prepare and evaluate technical & commercial comparison statements.
Follow up with vendors for purchase orders, delivery and documentation.
Coordinate with Engineering, Project, Procurement and Site teams for smooth project execution.
Requirements
Experience: 3–5 Years
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma
in Electrical Engineering.
3–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical Design & Procurement.
Experience in EPC, Water/Wastewater Treatment, STP/ETP or Industrial Projects will be preferred.
Good knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, electrical equipment and technical documentation.
Strong vendor coordination, communication and negotiation skills.
